Calisthenics, also known as street workout, is an ancient discipline that focuses on using your own body weight to gain strength, agility, and muscle control. Unlike conventional weight training, calisthenics requires brutal intermuscular coordination and exceptional relative strength (strength per pound of weight).
In recent years, the popularity of this sport has exploded thanks to its accessibility. All you need is a pull-up bar and willpower. However, this simplicity is a double-edged sword: it is very easy to get lost in the routine and not see results if strict records are not kept.
